Tivio Studio Wins at the European Video Awards!

Tivio Studio, a Czech media-tech startup, has been awarded at the prestigious European Video Awards in the category Best Streaming Technology Solution. The gala, organized by VideoWeek, took place in London and brought together leaders of the video industry from across Europe.

The jury recognized Tivio Studio for its innovation, groundbreaking approach to audience interaction, and its potential to transform the entire streaming industry. Tivio outperformed global giants such as Amazon and Twitch, proving that the future of streaming technology is also being built in Europe.

The winning solution, Tivio Interactive Streaming, is the world’s first patented interactive streaming technology with a built-in pay-per-view model. It gives viewers the ability to switch camera angles in real time, access additional data layers, participate in polls and quizzes – all from their smartphone acting as a remote control. This turns viewers from passive spectators into active participants in shaping their own experience.

Already today, the technology powers leading projects such as Stargaze – the first platform and TV channel for creators – and Oktagon, one of Europe’s fastest-growing MMA leagues. Both rely on Tivio Interactive Streaming to deliver new levels of engagement and monetization.

For us, interactive streaming isn’t just about better video delivery – it’s about changing the way audiences connect with content. Viewers no longer want to be passive; they want to engage, shape the experience, and be part of it. This award is a recognition of the work of our incredible team and the trust of our partners who believed that interactivity could be a game-changer for television and streaming – said Ladislav Navrátil, CEO of Tivio Studio.

Tivio’s solution also enables full monetization of content – through ads, subscriptions, live streaming, and pay-per-view. The technology is compatible with any device and can be integrated both with streaming services and traditional TV channels.

This victory is not only a success for Tivio Studio but also a strong signal that Europe is becoming an important hub for innovation in streaming and digital media.
